The Editor Options Dialogue Box
Window Settings: Show selection margin
Displays the selection margin on the left side of the document window.
Window Settings: Show line numbers
Displays line numbers in the selection margin. The Show selection margin option must be enabled for this option to be available.
Window Settings: Show whitespace
Displays whitespace between text as dots, and tabs as arrows.
Window Settings: Vertical scroll bar
Displays the vertical scroll bar on the right side of the document window.
Window Settings: Horizontal scroll bar
Displays the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the document window.
Drag and Drop: Drag and drop text editing
Enables drag and drop text editing within the document window.
Drag and Drop: Default drag action is move
When enabled, the selection is moved when you drag it with the mouse. When disabled, the selection is copied when you drag it with the mouse. The Drag and drop text editing option must be enabled for this option to be available.
Tabs and Indenting: Tab size
Allows you to enter a tab size.
Tabs and Indenting: Auto indent
Starts the next line at the same initial position as the text on the previous line.
Line Wrapping: Wrap lines at xx columns when loading
Wraps lines at the indicated column number when a file is opened. The default column width is 80. Please note: This is a hard wrapping feature. If you apply line wrapping, the file is saved in the wrapped format.
Backups: Create backup files with extension
Automatically creates a backup of the previous version of each file you edit and save. Also allows you to specify the file type extension of backup files.
